An introduction to Erdős-Ko-Rado property for permutation groups

Abstract: Let \(G\leq\mathrm{Sym}(\Omega)\) be a transitive permutation group with point stabiliser \(H = G_\omega\). A subset \(S\) of \(G\) is called an intersecting subset if \(s_1s_2^{-1}\) has a fixed point for any \(s_1,s_2\in S\), and \(G\) is said to have the EKR property if \(G\) has no intersecting subset \(S\) with \(|S|>|H|\). I will review the recent development of the study of the EKR properties and show some examples of intersecting subsets in the literature.
